All right, babyproofing experts: I’m looking for an option for the drawers in my kitchen. They are on rollers and stack, meaning there is nowhere above the drawer (except the top one) to screw anything in, such as with those plastic spring-loaded dealies. I bought special latches for roller drawers, but–here’s the catch–the drawer sides are METAL, meaning I can’t really attach the plastic pieces to them. (I mean, I guess I could try drilling through metal…) This also means I can’t use magnetic locks with them. However, I gotta do something. Ember loves to pull them open. Not only will he (eventually) pinch his fingers, but there are dangerous things in there! Help!

Your best bet is to attach a lock to the back surface of the drawer face plate. It would be positioned so that the arm of the lock catches on the side of the cabinet instead of the top. The S333 KidCo Swivel Lock should work for you.
