Door Stop Safety

Most of the door stops that you will see in a house are of two varieties. Solid metal with a rubber tip or a wound spring like metal with a rubber tip. The problem is the rubber tip. It can be removed by a curious child and become a choking hazard. To prevent this problem you should replace all the metal type door stops within your child’s reach with a one-piece door stop called the Soft Jamb. It is a solid plastic stop with no detachable parts available in different colors to match your home. It is simple to install by unscrewing your old stop and screwing the Soft Jamb into the same hole. It can be placed on the wall adjacent to the door or on the door itself.
